Kyle's Last NYC Hurrah

8:08 AM

A dear friend of mine, Kyle, visited me last weekend in NYC for a last visit before he moves back to the California to continue schooling towards medical school. We did all sorts of fun things - went to the delicious Filipino restaurant Jeepney (where waiters and waitresses shouted "BALUT" everytime someone downed one of those duck eggs), thrift-shopped for new digs, went to the last Celebrate Brooklyn concert of the summer to see St. Vincent, and caught up with another old friend from high school who just moved to the city!

He loved seeing Mel's beautiful space.

Sipping mango Calpico.

15, 000 people showed up for the last Celebrate Brooklyn - can you believe it!?

Annie Clark was a tigress.
